This blade is a plugable unit for the HP BLC7000 and BLC3000
It will not run in a standalone mode!
The cache module is included, but the battery is not included which may be required for advance features the P400 card.
The cache battery have become prohibittively expensive in comparison to what these units are sold for, in most cases when we receivce these units, we find that the battery is either swollen or end of life, hence we remove then and dispose of corrrectly.Depending on your application you may need to invest in a battery. the cable to cache module is included.
